Already Cleansed

How many of us ask God to cleanse us?  Feeling like you need to be cleansed again from sin....

Let me tell you something God said to me...You ALREADY are!  You are already cleansed because of the Word Jesus spoke to us (John 15:2-4).

One of the traps I think we can get ourselves into is thinking we have to "feel" something for it to be true.  Having some experience with God.  It doesn't work that way.  We certainly do enjoy God's presence and experiencing His grace, mercy and love, but we also just believe because He said so.

God is always at work and our feelings are just that, feelings....they are not the truth and they can mislead us in many ways.

If God says we are clean, we are clean...period.  We don't need some feeling to confirm that.

We can believe and trust that what God says is true.  Will you believe?
