In the Grip and Grace of God

Have you ever known what it feels like to live in the Grace of God? To be so discerning that you know that no matter what you do, you are loved by God, forgiven and trusted?? I’m not saying that we sin willingly here… just that He understands when we do and that He wants us to turn to Him.

He gives us this life when we surrender to Him… fully. He doesn’t care where you have been or what you have done. He just wants you … He cares for you. Have you surrendered your life to Him? Maybe, like me, you need to do this again…

Just the other day, I sensed that God had His hand on me and I was so very grateful. It’s a wonderful thing to be in the grip of God. To know that He is working in your life, even when it seems that things are quiet and you can’t see or tell what He is doing. He knows you better than you know yourself and knows just what you need and when you need it.

Remember Philippians 1:6 (NIV)? It says: "being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." I have thought about this verse many times over the past few months. We must remember: "It is God who works in you to will and act in order to fulfill His good purpose."

No matter where you think you are today, spiritually, if you have committed your life to Christ, remember Hebrews 6:10 (NIV), "God is not unjust he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them."

May I encourage you to trust your Heavenly Father today? Let Him deal with the things that need to be dealt with in your life, so you can enjoy His consolation.
