There is so much I want to say on this topic but let me start off by saying that God is forever true. He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear… but with the temptation He will provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.” (1 Cor 10:13)
The enemy of our souls tempts us… and in so many ways. But, we have an advocate with the Father, and the God who said, “Let there be light,” is on our side. He promises that there is a way out of that temptation so we can stand up under it.
Don’t let the enemy persuade you otherwise, he is a snake and a distractor to all the good God has planned for you.
Have you thought, lately, about God’s promise to first, take away your sin (through Christ), and second that He knows the plans He has for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you and to give you HOPE and a future…? (Jer 29:11) This is not wishful thinking. This is coming from a Covenant keeping God, the one who created you and holds you.
Remember, He is working all things for your good (Rom 8:28).
